This is a list of websites and/or organisations that I’ve found helpful. Most of these are oriented towards younger lesbians, because that’s who I happen to be.

http://www.autostraddle.com/ Possibly the most awesome lesbian site out there. Caters to a mostly Western, young audience. Politics,recaps of the Real L Word,and NSFW Sundays,involving nekkid ladies.
http://www.cardcarryinglesbian.com/ Personal blog of a West Hollywood femme in a relationship with a butch.Good for anyone working out a butch/femme identity.
http://dorothysurrenders.blogspot.com Pop culture blog, with amazing posts like Naked Lady Monday and Tank Tops Tuesday.
http://effingdykes.blogspot.com/ How to improve your lesbian gaydar. Has lots of pretty pictures.
http://genderfork.com/ Gender-queer, mostly pictorial and some profiles of people. Also you can ask for advice, anonymously if you want.
http://holybulliesandheadlessmonsters.blogspot.com/ Dedicated to pointing out the lies organisations like NOM use against us. Strap line: ‘Lies told in the name of God are still lies.”

LGBT Asylum News Reports on the status of LGBT refugees and asylum seekers around the world.
The Lesbian & Gay Foundation Primarily for NW England, but runs anti-homophobia campaigns for the whole of England. Also has a helpline and information on HIV, sex, health, coming out, equality/your rights and general wellbeing.

http://www.prettyqueer.com/ Looks at all aspects of queerness, takes a different tack from some of the more ‘establishment’ blogs out there.
http://queerwatch.tumblr.com/ Tumblr that has good links to many other queer/feminist tumblrs. A good starting point.

http://sparkindarkness.livejournal.com/ Essays on homophobia, fantasy book reviews and funny posts about a gay lawyer’s family life.
http://www.sugarbutch.net/ Looks at a butch/femme relationship, interspersed with sex toy reviews and quite a lot of erotica. Very NSFW, and probably 18+.
http://lesbrary.wordpress.com/ A blog with the aim of reading ‘everything lesbian.’ Great for book reviews and trying to find queer lit. Also has a zillion links to other similar blogs like Rainbow Reads.
http://www.thesite.org/ UK based advice site. Advises on sex and relationships, health, drink and drugs, home, the law, money, work/study and travelling. There’s an anonymous ask a question service too.

Velvetpark Similar to Autostraddle, pop culture and musings on what it is to be a leZbian.
